Our preoccupation with our daily routines distract us from seeing the wonder and beauty in the everyday miracle of life. My goal as an artist is to help foster a sense of awe by portraying the ordinary as something extraordinary. It is through aesthetic living we notice the details that were once overlooked and in doing so the sense of self diminishes along with our worries and stress. This experience of wonder and awe breaks the monotony of our daily routines and we begin to live a more fulfilling life.
