In middle school, she participated in an art contest which resulted in her getting second place and went on to attend Northern Oklahoma College, majoring in Fine Arts. She now, has a new budding online presence; gaining new followers every day.
Wacoche is currently practicing her art on a part time basis while her full time job supplements her main income. Wacoche’s work consists of commissioned art of families and their pets. She finds that highly detailed drawings and abstract-style painting/pastel are what she enjoys most. Listening to music is a huge motivator in her work. Her mission with her work is for the viewer to feel an emotional connection with her and also to capture what is on the subject’s mind. Wacoche says “Creative arts, in general, are therapy for the trials that life sometimes throws at us.” Wacoche tutors others in art and encourages the use of creative arts as a means to decompress from the frustrations that can sometimes come with life as she too uses art for personal discovery and therapy.
