Erich is an award-winning photographer and native Pacific Northwesterner. At eight years old, he was gifted his first camera, a well-used Kodak Brownie, and began photographing the world around him.
With a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, Erich was intrigued by the well-documented connection between an individual’s mental health and exposure to nature, especially tranquil scenes. He witnessed firsthand the link between clients and photographs he had on display in his office. Erich then began to use these images and other visual techniques with impressive results to help his clients manage the effects of depression and anxiety. Erich left the field of counseling in 2009 and began photography full-time in hopes of helping a more significant number of people than he could through counseling alone.
